We had a great second week of practice! The kids seemed enthusiastic in spite of the lingering cold early in the week. Thank you to the Thompsons for letting us borrow their porch heater these first few weeks to keep the kids warm(ish) on deck!

Upcoming Dates:

June 9-Judges clinic at Chesterbrook. 6:30 pm

Even if you don't feel ready to judge this year, the clinics are a great way to learn a bit more about the sport of diving. They'll explain exactly what the judges are looking for in a dive. 

June 17-Last day of FCPS school-No Dive Practice

June 18- Our first morning practice (10:15 am- 12 pm) and evening Mock Meet against Orange Hunt. We will send more details about the mock meet next week. All divers are encouraged to attend! Warmups begin at 4 pm. Signups are open!

This is a small, private group of parents, grandparents, and past parents. If you would prefer we keep your kids off of the Facebook page or the SwimTopia website, let us know. We are happy to respect that.

If your diver is 9 or under, please make sure you have a parent or other adult representative in charge of them during practices and meets. I'm happy to be that adult during practices, but I need to know I'm in charge. :)

Please consider volunteering to coordinate our dolphin diners! The role requires purchasing food, lining up workers, and making sure logistics are covered the day of the meet (ex-someone is lined up to pick up pizza or ice the coolers). We have lots of experienced, enthusiastic diner workers, and Julena and I can offer lots of support prior to the meet. Jenay, the pool Snack Bar Queen, has also offered to help you!
