First, congratulations to all of our divers who went to Oakton last night! We represented well against a Division 1 team. At least two kids earned their first blue ribbon. Several more set PRs. We did not calculate team scores but we did well. Great job, Greenbriar!

Looking ahead, Swim and Dive late night will be Saturday, June 28th at the pool from 9-11 pm. Dive will be providing ice cream while swim provides pizza. Look at the signup to see if there is a way you can help. Swim is also providing volunteers.

If you received an email about participating the Wally Martin 3 meter event, our only 3 meter practice time is Sunday, June 29th from 4:30-5:00. The kids need to be on deck at 4:15 so that we can get on the boards as soon as it's our turn. If you did not receive an email and your child is interested in participating on July 6th, please let me know immediately! I'll send info separately about how to register for that event through divemeets.

Our next Tuesday meet is July 1. We are AWAY at Parklawn Pool, located at 6011 Crater Place Alexandria, VA. If you are interested in carpooling over or your child needs a ride, meet in the Greenbriar lot at 4 pm, We will leave by 4:05 pm. It is a 45 minute drive at that time of day. Our kids will take the boards for warmups from 5 to 5:45. Freshmen will bounce at 5:45 with a start time goal of 6 pm.

If your child will need a ride, please let me know! I can take 4 kids in my car and we can find room for more if needed. The first round of table workers will need to be there no later than 5:40, and the judges meeting is set to start at 5:40. Please declare your diver in SwimTopia. Thank you to the families that have already done so!

There will be no practice on July 4th, and the Wally Martin 3 meter event is July 6th at OakMont Rec Center. If you are interested in the sport of dive, it's a fun event to go watch. The NVSL has a range of skill levels that will compete, up to Olympic caliber divers.
