Hi all, 

I just received communication from Oakton about the B meet for this Thursday, June 26th. If you have a diver that has been in Divisionals and did not age up, they should sit this meet out, although coming to cheer on your fellow divers would be great! We will meet up in the Greenbriar pool parking lot to carpool over to Oakton Swim at Racquet at 4:30, with a plan to leave the parking lot by 4:35. Let me know if your child needs a ride! I can arrange for spots if I know in advance! If you don't want to carpool, meet us there before 5 pm for warmups. We will start the meet at 6 or a little before, and hopefully be done before 8 pm. B meets move fast in dive. :) We will need two table workers and 3 judges for this meet.

These are the rules we have agreed upon.  If you aren't sure if your diver meets these qualifications, talk to me! We only had a couple of divers meet the Cracker Jack score cutoff during our first meet.

• Addition of an 8&under age group for freshman, so there will be separate 8&u and 9-10 categories with separate ribbons.
• Back jumps allowed for the second dive instead of 002/201
• Jumps (front and back) allowed as optionals for all age groups (however, a diver can't use 200 for the required back dive and also use it for an optional.)
• No repeating of dives (same dive number) regardless of position
• Coach assisted dives get scored with a maximum of 2
• Diver who fails a dive can have one redo
• Intermediates and seniors only do 4 dives (101, 201 and 2 optionals)
• No divers who have made the score this year that makes them ineligible for Crackerjack are allowed to compete. No 2023 or 2024 All-Stars may compete.
