Meet Tonight

First, I wanted to remind everyone we have a meet tonight at Oakton Pool. I know a number of you won't be competing but to the extent you can, I would like to invite all of you to attend. This should be a quick meet. We will only be competing 13 to 15 divers. For a number of divers this will be their first meet of the year and I know they would appreciate your support. 

Additionally, many of us know the coach for Oakton (Cheryl Metz) and some of their divers so it would be a good time to catch up and say hi. 

For those competing, since we have a fewer number of divers, we will start warmups at Oakton at 5:15pm. The address is 11714 Flemish Mill Court Oakton, VA 22124. It is only 3 miles from our pool and just a 12 minute drive at that time of the day. The action starts at 6pm. If we go to McDonalds it will be quick but we can decide tonight. 

I am really looking forward to some of our divers making their debut tonight.

Last Night's Meet

So I won't send multiple emails last night. Obviously, we didn't win the meet but we had some excellent dives and some excellent efforts! I was very happy to see Mario and Matthew Fitzgerald make their debuts for the team. I thought Sloane and Wesley dove very well against stiff competition both in only their 2nd meets lifetime. 

I want to recognized our point producers:

Ingrid Lander, Blake Allen, Sloane Wayment, Allie Farello, Rowan Threadgill, Wesley Grogan, Juliet Wells, Meghan Henderson, Matthew Bray and Mason Waterfield.

Thank you all for your effort. No fun practice until Friday so please get out there this morning because we have Cardinal Hill at home next week.
