My life is going a million miles an hour right now and I suppose yours is too. Take a breath, relax and hahahaha! We don't have time for that!!! 

Seriously, don't take any of this too seriously, please realize your kids, especially first year divers and divers learning new dives are attempting to delineate between fear and danger. They all have the ability but their timing is unique to them.

We do have a lot of calendar events next week. I apologize for compressing your summer schedule. As I have said before, we have 40 unique stories on going so we need multiple events to allow each of them to tell their story.

Meet Entry

Please remember, when you hit the button for "Meet Entry" for your diver, you are only saying you are in town and can at least get your diver to Greenbriar pool for a carpool or arrange a ride to the event. The coaches decides who dives. So if you are not sure if your diver has the correct number of dives, put that worry out of your head. That is a coaches decision. Different meets have different rules. The coaches are aware of the rules and will ensure they enter available divers into the correct meets.

Rolling Hills @ Greenbriar Wednesday July 5th (warm-ups start at 4pm)

Please find the "meet entry" button for this even and declare if your diver is available. We really need everyone for this meet as they are undefeated. It will hopefully be a close meet but we will all divers focused on doing their best. Lots of jobs for home meets from Dolphin Diner, to table workers and judges and referee's.

Greenbriar @ Oakton Thursday July 6th (warm ups at 4:30, events starts at 5pm)

Oakton Pool is located at 11714 Flemish Mill Court Oakton, VA 22124. Waze says it's a 12 min drive to arrive by 4:15 for the 4:30 warmup. This event starts at 5pm. If you haven't competed in a meet this year. We want you to compete in this meet. The rules for having certain dives are not as strict. This a perfect meet for a new diver to start competing. If your diver has won a ribbon this year in the A meets, you will not be diving in this event. If your diver hasn't won a ribbon but has had competitive scores, the coaches will decide if they think it would be beneficial for your diver to compete. If your diver hasn't won 1st - 3rd this year in a meet and your diver is available please hit the meet entry for this event and mark available.

Dolphin Fundraiser July 8th at Greenbriar Pool

We will be selling hamburger, hot dogs, drinks and other assorted goods. Leigh will confirm the time. Last time we sold out in just over an hour but raised a lot of money. Please consider volunteering for a bit on Saturday.

Wally Martin 3 meter and Synchro events July 9th at Oak Marr Rec Center

As I explained yesterday, the Wally Martin is an NVSL event. 3 meter competitors will need to enter the meet through divemeets.com. You will be required to fill out your divers meet sheet on-line. You should get with the coaches to confirm the dives your divers will compete. When they ask who your divers coach is please choose Matthew Bray. The synchro event is a paper meet sheet and we will give you guidance once you tell us you have formed a team with another diver.

Coaches are signing up for practice times at Oak Marr and will communicate those times shortly.
