I need to fill you in on even more meets and pictures!

B Meet July 6th Thursday

We have a "B" meet coming up on Thursday July 6th. "B" meets are for new divers and other developmental divers. This is going to be a bit complicated as there is the 4th of July on Tuesday so there won't be very many practices. A quick rule of thumb is if you have been winning 1st-3rd at the first 2 meets, you will not be diving at the Thursday meet. If you have been coming in under 3rd, you are likely eligible. More importantly, if you have not dove in one of the first two meets because you didn't have the correct dives, you should dive in this meet. The rules are far less strict and this meet is partially created to get the less experienced in a meet. Some of you will be diving in both the Wednesday and Thursday meet.

Picture Day July 11th Tuesday 9AM 

Pictures, I may have spread fake news earlier today to some of you. The pictures are on July 11th at 9am in the morning at the pool. This will allow us to go on with our normal practice on Meet Day. The pictures are with Olsen Photography. I will send the order forms when they are received.

I was happy to hear some synchro teams were being formulated this morning. We also have a few considering the 3 meter competition. The synchro event is a great deal of fun and requires divers to consider dive in a different light, please consider joining your diver with another or ask the coaches who they think might be a good fit. I assure you, they don't have to be the same size. I think what most matters is that they take off at the same time and hit the water at the same time.
