What can happen on a misty cold day at dive practice? and Morning Practice Update

Hi All,

One of the things I love most about being Dive Rep is that we have 40 independent stories going on at the same time. Every diver is on a slightly different path with different goals and winning or advancement is drastically different from a Senior diver to a Freshman diver. Yesterday, was not a great day for water sports. Yet, a few came out in the morning and even less in the afternoon to "win" or at least advance! What was winning yesterday? Eliza came out in the afternoon and worked hard to improve her hurdle. She listened to her coaches, overcame her fears and she landed her first double (104c for dive geeks). Congrats to Eliza, you are definitely winning this season! (I have attached the video if you want to see her triumph but I am not certain how well it will work on Swimtopia.)

As far as today, who knows, rain is supposed to get heavier between now and morning practice. If it's too heavy we will cancel practice. If it continues to be a light mist, we will keep practice open but will understand if you choose not to attend but don't kid yourself. You can improve/advance, even on a not so great weather day!
