NVSL Dive by the Numbers

Hello

I want to share a presentation that NVSL has provided each team. It's good to see how the league is doing and how Greenbriar stacks up against the averages. While you look at the presentation please consider the following.

Greenbriar competed in Division 5 this year. We had a total of 39 divers. (almost 11 below league average). Our team had an hour glass figure this year, we were both a very old team and a very young team. On average, teams had 2.5 Senior Boys and 3.5 Senior Girls. We were fortunate enough to have 6 Senior Boys and 5 Senior Girls. We are very thin in the Intermediates and that problem will be worse next season without new divers. Freshman and Junior Girls are fine but we are thread bare for Freshman and Junior boys.

Greenbriar competed in the only dual meet that ended in a tie this year and we also competed in 1 of 7 dual meets that was decided by a single point.

Twelve of our divers also swam and we had 3 divers join us from other pools.

We were proud to send 5 to All-stars this year. We had 3 Division Champions. In Wally Martin we had 1 Champion and 6 medalist. We were also very happy to have diver compete in the Crackerjack for the 2nd year in a row.

That's about it. If you can't tell, I am proud or our divers and our team and I look forward to next season.
