Hi Team,

I just wanted to give a quick recap about last night. Our team was missing some important pieces last night and I really didn't think we could prevent a loss. That said, the coaches did their best to work with who was available and with a little creativity, the team manufactured 36 points which was good for a Draw with Cardinal Hill.

My biggest shout out this week goes to Foster Eig. We had only 3 boys available last night to cover both the Freshman and Junior boys. As we determined Ben had a better chance to do well in Freshmen boys (Ben captured 2nd), we asked Foster to dive up to Juniors. Foster had never done this before but he had been working on 4 dives. Foster was able to obtain 3rd place earning his first point of the season. That one point allowed us to tie Cardinal Hill preventing a loss. Foster was nervous and I am sure he will be happy to rejoin the Freshmen boys next week but he saved the match last night by getting outside his comfort zone and earning a point for his team. Great job Foster!

Other shout outs include Rowan winning her first Intermediate meet, Meghan winning for the 1st time ever and Senior Boys going 1-2-3

2nd places included:

Ben Blauer, Simone Feil, and Paxton Martinez

3rd places included:

Leighton Raich, Sage Smyth, Foster Eig, Kendall Arnz, Luke Jones, Alyse Madsen, and Michael Bray

Very proud of the team, next week will be even more difficult as we will be without even more divers.
