Hi Team,

We always celebrate our successes! As most of you are aware Assistant Coach Matthew is at USA Diving Junior Nationals. Yesterday, Matthew competed in the 3 meter preliminaries. Today, he competed in the 1 meter preliminaries. 
Yesterday, Matthew scored 547 points on 11 dives and came in 2nd place missing out on 1st place by less than 3 points. A truly remarkable performance that has propelled him into the semifinals this weekend.

Today, Matthew once again was at the top of the leaderboard throughout the 11 dives. Unfortunately, while each dive was good the competition upped their game. Matthew scored 439 ending in 9th. Only top 6 moves on to semifinals. While I know Matthew is disappointed, I know I speak for all of us when I say how proud we are of him and how honored we are to have him represent us.
