Hello All,

I wanted to take a minute to celebrate our success! While all our divers were successful in there attempts this weekend, I wanted to point out a few that stood out to me. Mila, Hannah S and Kai are our three shout outs this week. Mila got up extra early Sunday as she was part of the first competition that started in the 7 o’clock hour. Her sacrifice was well placed as Mila was able to place 1st in a competition with nearly 60 7 year old girls. This is Mila’s first win in only her 3rd meet! Mila had two highlights, first Greenbriar diver to dive in Crackerjack and first to win!

Hannah S. Has had a tough time with her back dive all year but she hasn’t given up. Diving in her first meet of the year she placed 14th in a group of 40? She has maintained a tremendous attitude during the season and we were especially happy to see her get rewarded with a great result.

Kai was in the 13+ group. Kai has been on the team since 2017 but has been previously been able to complete a front flip. Kai also missed the first 3 weeks of the season as his family was away. Upon his return, he has learned 3 new dives including a front flip. Kai is a tremendous model of never giving up. He didn’t let his setbacks deter him and now he has pushed forward in a huge way. We are very proud of him and his 14th place.
